Nehemiah placed Champion Tropical Breed at the recent 2013 Mary Valley Show. Judges Comments: A very structurally correct bull, admired for his softness, volume and carcase & breed attributes, early maturing, medium frame, easy doing". Glenlands D 01/35 a thirteen year old matron still sound and very fertile we recently weaned the heaviest heifer calf for the year from this consistent old girl. A strong pedigree, sharing a line with Glenlands Prince "Cungelella Aura". We have retained some prominent females from her and down the line including Susanne "grandaughter"who produced our top selling bull at 2012 DN. Sale Bryvonlea Malachi who was Supreme Exhibit at the Gatton Futurity and Junior Interbreed Champion bull at the Gympie Show in 2012. Nehemiah's full sister Swanny has been retained and has a tremendous heifer calf at foot by Vale View Ripper. He was selected for the D&G sale to lift our profile at this sale and for ease of management having not run with the other sale bulls. If you want some weaners with weight inspect this bull. Easy managed with a lovely temperament, lovely head and skin, deep bodied and displaying exceptional muscle attributes but remains soft and easy to cover. Small late developing scurrs. Nehemiah should attract the attention of the astute breeder, a 23 month old, milk tooth with an average daily weight gain of over 1.1 kg/day, oozing sire appeal and fertility is worthy of close inspection. |
