A long, well balanced bull with strong sire appeal, reproductively correct with plenty of beef, bone and tropical skin.
Poll tested 98%PP. Progeny have been exactly that 98% polled with good head and strong topline and an excellent tropical coat. They are born small to medium with no difficulty.
His first sons sold at the 2017 DN. Sale with 9 selling for an average of $8000 to a top of $17,500 for Bryvonlea Royal Skye selling to Wolfang Droughtmasters.
2018 February All Breeds saw another son Bryvonlea Rolex top the sale at $19,000 selling to Terry & Catherine Piggott, Aldinga Droughtmasters.
At the 2018 DN Female Sale, a joined heifer, Bryvonlea Edian sold to Ridgee Didge Droughtmasters to top that section at $8000.
2018 Droughtmaster National Bull Sale 7 Wilfred sons sold to a top of $52,500 (2nd top priced bull) to average $17,785.71 To (30/09/19) 23 sons have sold at auction to a top of $52,500 to average $12,195.65. The 9 DN. 2020 Sale bulls had an average EMA of 144 (David Reid Scanning) and sold for an average of $15,388.88.
Semen has been sold overseas and at the Beef 2018 Genetic Auction a package of 5 straws sold for $600 per straw. To Sept 2021, Bryvonlea have sold at auction, 37 Wilfred sons, to a top of $52,500 to average $13,364 with an average EMA of 137.25. To March 2022 Females have sold to a top of $8000 with 19 unjoined heifers averaging $4921.05.

Selected for his all round beef attributes, sleek tropical coat, beautiful polled head, tidy underline and a well read pedigree (Sire: Billabong Winchester - Homozygous Poll, son of the $27500 Billabong Redford, a multi show ribbon champion in 2008/2009, sire of the $54,000 Calaanah Abraham and the retained sire Billabong Brando who produced the top priced $100,000 Billabong Hendrich sold at the DN. 2019 sale. Pedigree goes back to Billabong Godfrey, Kapalee Goldfinger, Fairhaven 99/5.

First sons sold at the 2020 DN. Bull Sale to a top of $17,000 to Hamadra Droughtmasters, with the 4 offered averaging $10,500. We offered 1 son, Bryvonlea Udonis, at the 2021 February All Breeds Bull Sale, he sold for $14,000 to N Dudarko.

To date, February 2021, five Fergus sons have sold for an average of $11,200 to a top of $17,000.

The first of his females sold at the DNF 2020 Sale. The 2 unjoined heifers age 17mths and 14 mths sold for $7000 and $6750. We have retained an impressive line of his females. Bryvonlea Dolores (Billabong Fergus / Bryvonlea Dolly) our only Fergus daughter at the 2021 Droughtmaster National Female Sale sold for $15,500 to Eljay Droughtmasters. As at April, 2021, 3 Females have sold at auction to a top of $15,500 to average $9583.

Weaners spend around 6 weeks at home with training through the yards and with the dogs befor going out onto the Glastonbury Hills to grow out.

Sale prepared in the Glastonbury Valley 20 km west of Gympie on improved pasture and because of the very dry conditions and heavy frosts thru winter they have restricted access to a Riverina Feed Supplement in the paddock.

Vaccinations: 3 Germ Tick Fever, 7 in 1, 3 Day Fever, Botulism (SingVac 3 years) and Pestigard.
Tested: PI Negative to Pestivirus and Negative to Pompes.
